From early childhood, I had viewed the Twin Towers as the most magnificent architectural wonders I had ever seen. I was so enchanted by them. This enchantment only grew over the years, I had to be able to see them one day, to see them with my own eyes. I never got the chance, they were destroyed before I could. I can feel so much empathy with the loss of life and the deep helpless emotion that we have all been robbed of something that runs so much deeper than their physical, awe-inspiring presence, it’s our spirit and what they represented to the people of New York and the world. The Twin Towers should rise again in sure defiance and triumph over evil, free to grace that skyline once again, prouder and more powerful than ever before!
