My dad helped with the recovery operations at the WTC for months. Of the 343 firefighters killed on 9/11, my dad knew about 50 of them. Make the skyline whole again! Rebuild the towers!

I am the son of Retired F.D.N.Y. Lieutenant James Cierzniewski. He and myself lost what we considered 343 members of our family on September 11. The only right thing to do is to rebuild to show that these Brave few didn’t lose their lives in vain. Also to show we are stronger then ever before to those that are responsible for taking the lives of everyone that died innocently that day.

My cousin was murdered on 9-11 along with 342 other brave firefighters. That day, and the days that followed were all about loss and destruction, and rising above it all with unity and courage and a refusal to let those who were murdered that day be forgotten or lessened in any way. Rebuild the towers, rebuild the bravery and let that tell the story. Let it tell the story of all the heroes, and let them be a constant reminder of the enduring spirit of the American people.

The Twin Towers should absolutely be rebuilt to honor the memory of those who were killed. It would symbolize a strong America and show the world that the USA will continue to be strong and stay strong!

My father is retired FDNY. Many of our friends died that day. My aunt was on the 93rd floor. Growing up in Staten Island, I always loved the sight of the Towers when I looked at the City. Every time I pass the site where the twins were, I feel anger and rage. Those animals stole a part of my heritage. The Twin Towers were like the Grand Canyon, no picture or book could ever capture its awe-inspiring emotion. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

Please rebuild the towers as they were. I can’t believe that it is not even an option at this point. To me it is the only option, make the skyline of New York exactly as it was. It will certainly help us to never forget.

My husband is a professional firefighter from Newark, NJ. He was ordered by Sharpe James NOT to go to NYC. He and some of his fellow firefighters took a rig and went there anyway for four days. God bless them all including my brother Michael Clark, International Ironworks Local 40 NYC. Put the towers back! The skyline looks like a smile with its front teeth missing!

Only an idiot would consider any thing but total replacement of what was there as a really earnest testimonial to those we lost and as a warning to those who would do us harm in the future. My Father was the Chauffeur at 9 Truck for half of his career and he would agree were he around to have witnessed all that transpired…DEM Jr

My grandfather was a captain in the New York city fire department . He passed away a few years ago but I know that on that day ,Sept 11 . He was there in heaven with his hands stretched out to welcome all the fallen fireman . Nobody , But nobody must be allowed to take our way of life . Lets do the right thing . Lets re-build the twin towers to the way they were . Lets show these bastards that they lost .

This is the ONLY way to properly and adequately honor the fallen and our heroic rescuers. It is the ONLY way to adequately make a statement of National pride and convey a message to those who would destroy us that we shall be victorious.

When we act and build smaller buildings as a result of a threat of terror, terrorisim is working. If we alter in any way what we say or do, as a result of fear of terrorists, we have lost and they have won. This country is a great nation, and we need to remember our roots and not be threatened by those who would do us harm. I hope a statesman rises out of this mess and leads our spineless politicians to be strong and follow the will of the people, and never bow to terror.Never forget the lost!
