I was born 9 years after 9/11, but the Twin Towers have always amazed me. I have never seen a building that sparked such curiosity and admiration in me, and their absence makes the Manhattan skyline feel incomplete. I support the rebuilding of the Twin Towers not only as an architectural symbol, but above all as a place of memory, history, and a legacy for future generations. May the spirit of these towers remind us of resilience, solidarity, and hope. Warm greetings from Poland to everyone around the world who supports this initiative.

Rebuilding the twin towers would be the only way of showing the world that NYC has finally recovered. It would make clear that terror and hate would never be able to harm or break the western world.

As someone who wasn’t born when they were around I have for some reason been fascinated with them for years and wish they would be rebuilt so a new generation can experience them and so we can heal as a nation.

The twin towers need to comeback in some form. It is necessary to heal our nation and will truly be an inspiration for generations of Americans to come. Thank you to The Twin Towers Alliance for being one of our voices.
Rebuild the beautiful towers and bring back what we lost!

The current tower may rise high, but it doesn’t carry the weight of meaning that the Twin Towers held. That silent strength. That brutal clarity. It’s gone.

I’ve read about your work, and it moves me. I didn’t even know such a movement existed until recently. But now that I do, I feel compelled to add my voice. Please don’t give up. The idea of rebuilding at least one of the original towers — maybe even the South Tower — feels to me like healing. Not erasure. Not forgetting. But remembering
    honestly.

I believe we can honor the dead not just with reflection, but with the courage to restore what they were once a part of — those enormous, stubborn, unforgettable towers. I believe that would mean something to millions.

Thank you for carrying the torch all these years. You’re not alone.

    With all my heart, Alimkhan

TTA: Alimkhan left another beautiful message before this one that we think should be included here…

I’m writing this letter with a heavy heart and deep reverence. Though I never saw the Twin Towers in person, they’ve left a mark on me unlike anything else. I often feel overwhelmed — not just by sorrow, but by a strange longing, like I lost something essential without ever having touched it.

The original World Trade Center towers were more than just buildings. They were honest. Massive. Raw. Unapologetic. They didn’t try to please everyone — and that’s precisely where their strength lay. They weren’t sleek or trendy or desperate to be loved. And yet, people did love them, deeply and fiercely. Because they stood for something real.

Every time I look at the new skyline, I feel pain. Not because I reject progress — but because it erased something sacred, something true.

The twin towers should have been rebuilt from the start. Rebuilding them shows that we are not / can not be swayed by the terrorist cowards who attacked us. Rebuild them stronger and better and protect them, whatever the cost. It’s a middle finger to those who hate us.

I would love to see the twins towers get rebuilt. it sounds like a great idea. America needs the Beautyful twin towers. This needs to happen.

I am directing a bold, visionary infrastructure project to resurrect the Twin Towers with a new objective: the World Tech Center. It can be built in Chicago, or just east of Hudson Yards in NYC. Its purpose is to be a hub for international STEM, hosting labs, workshops, offices, a library, and a central plaza with underground shopping mall, and with many other amenities. The twin towers rise 450 metres and features UHPC concrete cores, and A514 high strength structural steel. I’m making it the tallest building in the western hemisphere, where the North Tower antenna rises 1969 feet high (600.15 m).

Hello, my name is Kevin. I am an American citizen. I am a Native New Yorker. I was born in New York City specifically in Brooklyn after the 9/11 attacks that brought the precious magnificent World Trade Center Towers down. I didn’t get to see the twin towers in person. I was born in 2006 roughly 5 years too late. Starting in 2015 when I was just nine years old, I started feeling fascinated and super interested in these two buildings. I thought that they were the most beautiful skyscrapers ever. I started to want to see them in person so badly. I became so obsessed. I want to see the twin towers, be built back in the skyline in America, bigger and better and taller and stronger than before. We have to let the terrorist know they lost. I want them back because they were supposed to be part of my childhood.

Good morning Margaret, it’s been a few years but this is Zachary Cestaro once again, I’m currently active in the U.S. Navy right now. Also, I went forward and saw the page is still going strong. I’m signing once again to vouch for the Twins to be rebuilt and stronger as always. I have never forgotten about 9/11, and the best way to honor our fallen Police Officers and Firemen, along with the thousands of other heroes and victims gone way too soon. I pray to Christ these buildings are to be rebuilt, and the swindle is to be exposed. Thank you very much.

    V/R

I was born nearly 7 years after 9/11, in England, and I have to say that I have never wanted to visit anywhere as much as the Twin Towers. Perhaps it is my taste in architecture, the sheer size of these buildings attracts me to them straight through my computer screen. To dine at the Windows on the World, sat eating 107 stories above the ground, looking out over Manhattan. I guess that feeling is one very hard to come by without the buildings to feel it in.
Think about what it symbolised! Not only international trade and more peaceful times-for many people, on a personal level, it represented those more simple days, pre-2008, before social media made so many people miserable.
Rebuild them. Make the NYC skyline iconic again.

I hope we can restore our beautiful skyline we once had. Us Americans deserve it, we need to show that if someone destroys something on our soil we’ll build it back bigger and better. My friend lost his dad who worked on the 63rd floor of the north tower and he even told me if the twin towers were back he would feel like it would give him the proper closure to his dads death. because if we rebuild that means we won. I would give my best to have this become a reality, if this plan goes forward, you’ll see me helping on the construction site to bring back this American dream. God Bless, stand strong USA!!!

As homenagens seriam parte essencial e primordial no projeto… Ainda hoje, penso em como o ser humano pode ser imbecil à ponto de destruir prédios da maneira que aconteceu, por um fanatismo religioso totalmente distorcido e errado… Quero as torres gêmeas de volta em NYC!

Translation: I would sincerely like to see the Twin Towers standing as they were before, but of course, with a much better structure, much reinforced and with much more security. When the attacks happened, I was a child, and I was only 5 or 6 years old…

It would be the best thing for the New York skyline to have the Twin Towers as part of the city again… If I were a billionaire, I would do everything possible to rebuild them along the original lines of the complex… The tributes would be an essential and fundamental part of the project… Even today, I think about how human beings can be so stupid as to destroy buildings the way they did, out of a totally distorted and wrong religious fanaticism… I want the Twin Towers back in NYC!

The Twin Towers were more than just ordinary work skyscrapers, they were symbols. Symbols of American economic power, globalization, and prosperity. But, the day they were destroyed by terrorists, that was all gone. There is still hope though. Hope that we can rebuild the towers once again, and take back what the terrorists took from us. Thousands upon thousands would agree.

While I am Australian, the twin towers were America. They were so iconic and that is what made the NY skyline what it is.

Their reconstruction would be so symbolic as its a slap in the face towards terrorists and a general “You may knock us down but we will come back stronger”.

    Please rebuild!

Rebuilding the Twin Towers is a powerful symbol of our nation’s strength, resilience, and unwavering resolve in the face of terror. The attacks of 9/11 were meant to instill fear and weaken our spirit, but by restoring these iconic towers, we send a clear message to the world: America does not back down. We honor the lives lost by standing tall and showing that we will not be defined by destruction, but by our ability to rebuild, rise, and persevere. This is not just about rebuilding a structure—it’s about reaffirming our national identity, strength, and commitment to freedom.

    PS sarebbe memorabile.

I’ve always been in love with the World Trade Center towers since I was a child (even though I never got to see them), and thinking that those magnificent architectural complexes would no longer exist makes me feel a great inner sadness both for what happened but also for knowing that I will never be able to see those fantastic towers.
I strongly desire the reconstruction of those towers, also to give a sign of rebirth and redemption and to convey that terrorism has done nothing to us, and then also because they recall a golden period for everyone.
Obviously, as long as this does not cause general annoyance to those who unfortunately lost loved ones during the attack.

    PS it would be memorable.

I’m from the UK and think it’s a real shame the towers haven’t been rebuilt, as nothing would have shown the world terrorism will not prevail more. The New York skyline simply isn’t the same without these iconic behemoths. I’d love to see them rebuilt bigger and better, but with the same steel framed architectural style. Nothing would commemorate all those lost on 9/11 better than rebuilding the twin towers. New York authorities, please u-turn and give the people what they want.

Born shortly before 9/11, the Twin Towers still have always been one of the most iconic symbols of the United States to me on par with the Statue of Liberty and the White House. Their design is unique, recognizable all around the world and stand just all in all for everything american. Bringing them back would be the only right thing.

Like the Sphere and the Survivor Tree, the Twin Towers faced indescribable odds against them and came out on top in February 1993. I believe the Towers should be rebuilt. It would be a great display of resilience and make New York feel a little more like New York again.

I Was Born 3 Years After The Disaster. I Just Like Many Others Didn’t Have The Chance To See The Twin Towers Stand Before Us. We Must Rebuild Them As They Were Before, Not Just To Repair The New York Skyline, But To Repair What America Stands For. If We Don’t Rebuild And Just Leave A Empty Space, Then The Enemy Wins. We Must Rebuild The Towers The Same As Before, But Stronger To Prevent The Disaster From Happening Again. America Doesn’t Back Down, America Doesn’t Lose, We Rebuild And Come Back Stronger Than Ever. We Owe It To Every Single Police Officer, Firefighter, Paramedic, Victim and Families Who Mourn To Bring Back The Towers. We Cannot Let Ground Zero Be A Grave, We Must Let It Be A Sign Of Strength By Rebuilding The Towers In Honor Of Those We Lost.
