Ever since I was a little kid I dreamed of seeing the great towers but unfortunately I never got the chance. But when I saw this project I knew It had to be done and I fully support and hope that this project will be successful in the future!

The twin towers were a symbol of our great nation. They need to be brought back to life.

I never got to see the Twin Towers in person, though I hope that will change soon. The Freedom Tower is fine, but it should be in another city, heck, even another borough. If what it takes to rebuild the Twin Towers is razing the new World Trade Center, then I’m down with that.

I’m among the many people who never got to visit the original World Trade Center prior to 9/11. Looking back at video footage of that tragic day is positively heartbreaking, and I’d give anything to see those tall towers return anywhere in the world, let alone to the Manhattan skyline. The new One World Trade Center is nice and all, but it’s just not the same.

I’m not a big person in politics, I’m not a big person in government, in fact I’m not even old enough to vote. I just believe that the towers represented America’s freedom it represented America. When the terrorists took that away from us they robbed us of our Liberty, they robbed us of what stood for us. If there was a way to bring them back, for my children to see, my grandchildren to see, that would be amazing… Bring back the Twin Towers!

I personally was born after 9/11, and I never even got to see them, and that breaks my heart. We need to rebuild them taller than One WTC including it’s spire. Seeing these buildings again would make alot of people emotional, including me. So let’s rebuild these Towers! It’s never too late to rebuild them after all…

  • signature permalink TTA Suporter * 10/14/2016

That Freedom Tower in New York City doesn’t remind me of 9/11 at all. I think the Twin Towers would be a better reminder of that day and would be more respectful to the 9/11 victims and families than the Freedom Tower is or ever will be.

  • signature permalink Zack Harris * 10/9/2016

The World Trade Center was a complex that symbolized NYC & symbolized our country and ever since the tragic events of 9/11/01 our voices and opinions haven’t been heard and that goes for the victims who survived and the families that lost their loved ones on 9/11. I ask that we as a community and those who own the WTC complex listen to us and rebuild the Twin Towers (the original World Trade Center complex completely) & on a personal note I would love to see the Twin Towers come back because those towers and the complex was such a unique place to be at and it was a unique place that took the hearts of millions of people and like I said it defined the NYC skyline and NYC.

I admire your dedication to rebuilding those beautiful towers

It’s time that, like the Phoenix, the Twin Towers arise from the ashes to retake their former glory in New York.

I have sometimes wondered why the Twin Towers were not rebuilt instead of that pretty but not-good-enough thing they just threw down, and leaving those two giant fountain-holes. After visiting this website, I now realize it was worse than I thought. The Twin Towers need to return. They were stolen from us and any red-blooded American or New Yorker should be very angry that they haven’t been rebuilt — good on Donald Trump for throwing his weight behind Twin Towers II. As a Millennial, my only memory of the WTC is of the smoking doomed skyscrapers. 9/11 defined the Twins for my generation. That’s not right. The WTC is just a tragedy memorial now. As long as that’s the case, Al Qaeda’s won. RAZE ONE, PUT UP TWO!!

  • signature permalink Josh Stevenson 6/19/2016

I don’t understand why the Port Authority didn’t rebuild the Twin Towers in the first place.

The new World Trade Center complex isn’t terrible, but really? In my opinion, the only way we could heal from 9/11 is if the WTC be built how it was when it was destroyed.

Al-Qaeda wanted the Twin Towers destroyed, and by wasting time for these new designs, we are giving them what they wanted.

The new World Trade Center is a “giant middle-finger” to the victims and their families; the only way to heal this nation is to rebuild the towers.

I was born overseas in the year 96 and I was too young to remember 9/11. Heck I wasn’t aware of the Twin Towers existing until I saw the 76 remake of King Kong. Upon years later I saw what the new World Trade Center was going to look like and that’s when I found this site. I did question why don’t they rebuild towers. It left me for some years until I went to New York for the first time. I liked the Freedom Tower when I saw it in person but it would look nicer with the towers next to it. After my trip I saw what the new design of WTC2 was going to look like and I hated it! That’s when my appreciation for the Twin Towers grew! They’re my favorite NY landmark second to the Empire State Building and I want to see them back!!!

Symbolism is a great thing in America. The twin towers represented symbolism. When you look at them you have an epiphany and realize just how special they were to us. Please rebuild them.

I would like to see the Twin Towers rebuilt. I was 2 years old when 9/11 happened and i would like to see it if they rebuild it.

I’m 15 years old and I was only 7 months old when the twin towers collapsed. I never got a chance to see them in person. The twin towers are the only things that I could think about. Why don’t we just rebuild them? It would be nice for the twin towers to rise from the ashes. All that I ever wanted to do was to go to New York and visit the twin towers in person. Please bring back the tallest skyscrapers in NYC. It’s too late to do that.

  • signature permalink Jackson Kelly * 4/1/2016

    Bring the Towers back please!!

  • signature permalink Ricky Nelson * 3/17/2016

We need the Twin Towers. The new tower, One World Trade Center, just does not do it justice. I can’t even express the amount of sadness I have that those buildings aren’t there anymore, and what’s in their place is an eyesore, a modern contemporary-design skyscraper that completely ignores what made the Twin Towers unique. Nothing like them has ever existed, they were a tribute to the time period in which they were built, and a symbol of America. New York, and America itself needs the Twin Towers back.

  • signature permalink Ben Webb * 1/22/2016

Please build back the Twin Towers. I was 4 when the tragedy we know as 9/11 happened. As I grow older and see less people care and remember what happened it really makes me sick. My biggest dream in life is to see the towers rising above everything else one more time. My life would be complete if I could just see them and all of what they stand for. Thank you for letting me have a voice and God bless America.

We can still rebuild the twin towers where the reflecting pools are. I don’t understand why we could not rebuild them in the first place.

I strongly believe that the towers should be rebuilt. They are symbolic to our peoples and nation. I want to have the opportunity to see how they were once again.

  • signature permalink Ryan McKenzie * 12/30/2015

I was down at the World Trade Center just three days ago.I hated to gaze up where I used to see two shimmering silver towers and instead see a glass gravestone which claims to be the future of architecture. I do like the symbolic height, but they should’ve rebuilt the Twin Towers with that height.

I don’t get it. Downtown New York is a terrible place now, with those awful generic skyscrapers.

  • signature permalink Cameron Bell * 12/21/2015

I visited New York in 2012, it is a very different place now. If they rebuilt the twin towers it would have added some character to the skyline again…

  • signature permalink Margarita Yerk * 12/20/2015

Please rebuild the twin towers. The skyline with them was unmistakable and majestic. Nothing can compare. Those towers were to NYC what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris.

  • signature permalink Johnny Glasford 12/1/2015

New York is a somber place now. The city of my dreams, ruined 14 years ago. And there still exists, a hole in my heart. The Twin Towers were part of it. I loved the open plaza at the base of the towers. And I would head up this lavender elevator to a subtle, relaxing and exciting view of New York and New Jersey.

Fourteen years and 3 months ago, the Twin Towers were destroyed, and reduced to nothing, along with 3,000 innocent citizens. Now, what sticks out of the World Trade Center’s ground is a concrete rod surrounded in glass. Not to mention, with an antenna on top, half the height of the building.

What we want is a new version, V2.0 of the Twin Towers. Advanced in technology and up-to-date, the towers will once again reclaim the title as New York’s most iconic buildings.

I was in NY last week, I lived there part of my adolescence back in 1986 and going back to one of the greatest cities of the world without the WTC … it didn’t feel same … NEW York is not the same … Those iconic towers need to be built again … to show our power and not give the victory to those who destroyed them!! Please build them back!

We NEED to REBUILD WTC TOWERS II, GET BACK THE FORMER EXTERIOR DESIGN OF THE ORIGINAL TOWERS! Build them taller and better(use larger core, staircases with the triangular rest area as in 1 WTC). Hollow steel sq. tubing with triangular support system inside concrete with re-bar, finish with shiny steel metal facade. Build a tower with upgrades in Canada, then RC one of the largest airplanes, bigger than a 777/A380, maybe a Beluga(?) into it to see if that knocks it down; notes NOE explosive assistance.

Bigger, Stronger, Thicker, Taller than before. As I remembered, and millions of others has remembered, as the two giants stood next to one another. For the future generations of our American society to remember what we were, and what we will be. Please, rebuild the towers the way it should be, for the American people. Let us show the world we still stand strong and tall, and now we stand stronger and taller than before.

  • signature permalink James Freyermuth 10/26/2015

Please put them back for all the people like me that so badly want to see them. What better way to come back than to show we were not defeated and we can come back stronger.

  • signature permalink Timothy Davison 10/17/2015

Those towers must be rebuilt. they should look as they did in the past. no modern touches. what needs to change is their strength. They must be rebuilt.

  • signature permalink Dianne Childs * 9/25/2015

I still can’t believe that rebuilding the original towers wasn’t the plan from day one. How could anyone want any other option? If I had been on those planes or in those towers, I would want two things done to honor me: destroy the animals responsible for this attack, and REBUILD EVERYTHING. The Freedom Tower and complex are beautiful but totally inappropriate. The complex reminds me of cold, broken pieces of the original towers. We went from two giant, confident, bold, magical monuments reaching for the sky, to a bunch of short, boring, dead pieces. Is that supposed to represent that we’ve “learned our lesson” and become more humble and weak? Not me. I’m more pissed and determined than ever. And I know I’m not alone.

My mother is from NY, so even though I grew up in Boston, we visited so much that New York was always my home away from home. The World Trade Center was one of my most loved playgrounds as a child. I’ll never forget jumping up in the air at the moment the high speed elevator stopped at the observatory to experience weightlessness! And that view from the top! I didn’t go to New York for 14 years after the towers fell because I knew it would be unbearable to see the city without them. When I finally saw the Freedom Tower in person a couple weeks ago, it was sickening. My first thought was: “BUT IF THERE WERE TWO OF THEM…….”

  • signature permalink Chris Daxer 9/17/2015

I was very little when the towers collapsed, but they are my favorite buildings in the world. I would love nothing more than for them to rebuild the twin towers.

  • signature permalink Joseph Potts 9/16/2015

I was very little when the twin towers were destroyed but I really wish that I could have seen them! One day I’m going to visit NYC and go see the memorial and museum and I would love to see the real towers there, bigger and better than they once were!

  • signature permalink Greg Rainey * 9/12/2015

Please rebuild the original Twin Towers. Just build the buildings taller and stronger than the old ones were. This will show terrorists how strong we are. Please build it in the exact same spots they were in, even if it would ruin the memorial. They can just rebuild a memorial inside the new Twin Towers. Please.

I was in the middle of a school day when I first heard of the 9/11 tragedy. It was devastating then and still is to this day. Every year for three or four days around 9/11 I search the internet for some sign the original monuments will be rebuilt in all their beauty. I don’t live in New York, but even the pictures have a big gap! The only way to establish our true strength as a nation is to rebuilt bigger and stronger not build around. Please rebuild these international icons in all their original glory!

I am so far away from New York, but as an American we have to rebuild only taller and better. What a normal American would want to see. Greatness of our country is what Trump was talking about in 2005 and government turned a blind eye to a man that helped build an empire in New York. I said my peace.

Rebuild the Twin Towers after all I don’t live in New York but New York City needs the Twin Towers rebuild and also the Nation needs the Twin Towers up in the skyline of New York City it’s not the same without the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center

I was only 9 years old when 9/11 happened and I didn’t understand just how great the devastation, the severity of how detrimental it was to our country until I grew older. The more I learned about 9/11, the heavier my heart and chest felt with grief for those who lost loved ones and friends in the attack. It brought America to its knees, closer to God, and to each other. 9/11 was a day everyone became a New Yorker. I’ve always been sentimental and I don’t think the Freedom Tower does the NY skyline justice compared to what Manhattan could have in rebuilding taller and stronger Twin Towers. I think that it would also bring some sort of release and deliver the perfect slap in the face to terrorists! It would scream, “We won. Go to hell!”

I Am not from New York City nor have i ever been but i would love to visit and move there one day. I Consider myself a New Yorker no matter what. & I Say the Twin Towers need to be Rebuilt its only right. the New York City Skyline does not look the same with out them. feels like something is missing please consider it. many of us Americans & New Yorkers want them rebuilt
